Who are we?

Open Alms have grown out of an Essex-based, established, family-run property management and development agency operating across the South-East and East Anglia.

We are passionate about almshouses as an important strand of affordable housing.

We are experienced in housing vulnerable people: in addition to currently clerking for several almshouse charities, our property management team works with housing teams at local authorities, helping refugees and those facing homelessness.

We also have Board expertise running supported housing non-profits, and have director-level charity management and fundraising experience.
